KUALA BESUT: Police are looking for a 23-year-old labourer who allegedly attacked a 17-year-old youth with a parang in a guesthouse office in Kuala Besut on Friday.
The victim suffered cuts on his head and was sent to the Besut Hospital where he received seven stitches.
State CID chief Superintendent Khairi Ahrasa said the victim's aunt, a 47-year-old tourist guide, lodged a report at the police station here at 11pm the same day.
She claimed that the suspect rushed into her office at 6.30pm and slashed her nephew's head.
Khairi believed the attack was due to a misunderstanding over a car accident between the suspect and the victim a week earlier. - Source
